Know in two weeks whether your system can prove your decisions

In two weeks you know whether your system can prove who decided what and when — and what the path there costs.

AssessmentCompliance

“When an auditor asks how this state came about, we spend days digging through logs.”

Duration
2 weeks, fixed price
Who it is for
CIOs, CTOs and owners of systems under audit or regulatory pressure (NIS2, CRA, AI Act, ISO 27001)
Price frame
€6,500 fixed price, credited when you continue

Typical symptoms

  • The current state of the data is known, the path to it is not.
  • Audit questions are answered by people from memory, not by the system.
  • Corrections overwrite the old value instead of being recorded as corrections.
  • Logs are supposed to provide evidence but are neither complete nor retention-safe.
  • Someone proposed event sourcing and nobody can judge whether it fits.

Outcome

  • Assessment of provability per core process: what can be reconstructed today and what cannot
  • Gap list with risk, effort and sequence
  • A clear recommendation on whether event sourcing fits — or explicitly does not
  • Reference slice: one process that shows the target state concretely
  • Decision paper for the board with effort ranges

How we work

  1. Week 1

    Inventory and audit scenarios

We look at the data model, interfaces, logging and the actual audit questions, and talk to business, engineering and operations. Then we write down the questions an auditor, a customer or a court would ask and try to answer them with today's data.

  2. Week 2

    Reference slice and decision paper

On one core process we show what the target state looks like: which events are recorded, how today's state is derived from them and what that means in operations. Gap list, recommendation and effort ranges go into a paper you can decide on without us.

Frequently asked

Who do we need internally?
Someone from business, someone from engineering and someone from operations — around four to six hours per person across two weeks.
Do we need an audit first?
No. The check does not replace an audit, it prepares you for one: it shows which questions your system cannot answer today.
What does it cost?
Fixed price of €6,500. If you continue with us afterwards, the amount is credited against the follow-up package.
